Prophetic Words About This Year

                    5783/2023

The Jewish year 5783 began on the evening of September 25th on the solar Gregorian calendar and the 1st day of Tishrei on the lunar Hebrew calendar, marking the beginning of creation.

I began thinking and praying about what the Lord Almighty wants to say about this year so I began to look at some of my favorite prophets and preachers on youtube. Then I decided to search for myself.

Proverbs 25:2 says It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. (NKJV)

So, this post is an intermix of Bible verses (I used my Life Application Study BIble NIV) and word/number search results from my Strong’s Concordance and prayer. So, unless noted all scripture verses will be in the NIV

I have done and continue to do and love to research many things. I love to prepare for Sunday mornings at my home with a few people.

To begin, I looked up the word that would correspond to the number 5783 in the concordance. The word is ur and means: to be uncovered, to be laid bare, to be completely naked.

Through prayer I was led to Deuteronomy 7:22-23

The Lord your God will drive out those nations before you, little by little. You will not be allowed to eliminate them all at once, or the wild animals will multiply around you. 23 But the Lord your God will deliver them over to you, throwing them into great confusion until they are destroyed.

A pack of wolves on the rocks. Some are watching while others sleep and the one in the center is howling.
The Lord your God will deliver them over to you. Deuteronomy 7:23

The wild animals (spiritually speaking consider the insinuation of those being wild ways of sin) would multiply and conquer if not done away with a little at a time. And we don’t need to do the eliminating ourselves, but God will do it for us.

The demonic creatures attempting to take out our family members will be eliminated by God through great confusion and they will be destroyed. We can not take out the enemy alone but in the midst of this spiritual war we do need our spiritual armor. (Ephesians 6)

I believe the prophetic words have been right. This year, I believe, will mark the uncovering and exposure of embarrassing stuff the elite have been doing in secret.

Let us leave the ‘land of ur’ as Abram did. The land where we did the secret sins and let us uncover God’s grace. Help us to expose God’s wonder and God’s beauty and God’s blessings; God’s Favor!

A short Prayer:

God, expose the darkness, and uncover what the leadership of our country has been covering up. God, uncover the evil plots against our families and our nation.

God, help us to walk out from the sins in secret- the sins of thought, action and inaction. Help us to allow You to uncover those places in our hearts that we have clumsily tried to hide from You.

Oh, God, cause us to realize that in You there is no darkness and nothing is hidden from You. (Matthew 10:26)

The year 2023 is coming up soon. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is Psalm 23. I looked up the numerical meaning of the Hebrew and Greek words which are numbered 23 in the concordance.

The Hebrew word is Abiasaph meaning: (my) Father has gathered. The Greek word, Aganakteo means: to be indignant, much displeased.

The Hebrew word correlating to the number 2023 is hor meaning: mountain. The Greek word correlating to 2023 is epichoregeo meaning: to be supported, receive:- to minister, add, nourishment ministered.

The 23rd verse in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

A beautiful picture under the sea of choral and a multitude of small colorful fish with the sun rays entering the water.
So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:21

The 23rd verse in the New Testament is: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Wow! I am not at all saying that Jesus will return this year, but I am saying God will be with us in a powerful way this year!! The number 5 means grace.

A Vision of Sheep

A picture of a young shepherd on a hill with a small hear of sheep with a backdrop of palm trees.
The Lord is my shepherd Psalms 23:1

A few days before this study as I was praying, I saw in my mind, a beautiful field and in the field were several sheep. To my right was a fenced part of the same field and the sheep were heading into that “pen”.

Some of the sheep were lingering outside of the fence and continuing to eat from the same grass as was on the inside. As I watched the sky began to turn gray and the wind started to blow.

The clouds were very dark and rushing in quickly. The gate was still open, but the few stragglers wouldn’t go toward it.

Holy Spirit began to speak to my thoughts, to God’s people: “Stop fooling around, I will protect you (as in Psalm 91) if you will simply heed my call. Listen for my voice and enter into my rest.

He reminded me of that as I continued to pray. Psalm 23 talks of the Good Shepherd and the sheep. Between the chapter in the Bible and the vision it is apparent that in the year 2023 He will be gathering His sheep.

He is moving us toward His holy mountain, so that we can either minister to others or be ministered to; with the ministry of grace with which we can be fed and nourished.

He has been displeased with the way we as a nation have denied Him and ignored His tender guidance. I believe we will see what I have heard about… The Golden Glory being released and a pouring out of the Holy Spirit with power to minister to all as they are gathered into HIs Kingdom and that we will see with our own eyes the punishment of the wicked. (Psalm 91)

Then I was led to Habakuk 3 which is a prayer.

Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. (This is the Days of Awe on the Hebrew calendar) Repeat them in our day in our time make them known in wrath remember mercy.

God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth.

His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. Plague went before him; pestilence followed his steps.

(Could the plague be covid? Could the pestilence be the coming viral invasion? Just a thought)

He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age-old hills collapsed—but he marches on forever.

You uncovered your bow, you called for many arrows. You split the earth with rivers; the mountains saw you and writhed.

In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations. You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot.

The verses covered are from Habakuk 3:2-9,12-13 you may want to read the entire chapter, it is only 19 verses in total.

The many words in this passage that were directly related to the numerical numbers I researched was amazing. I came upon it because it is the only place where I could find the Hebrew word ur. It is in verse 9 when God ‘uncovered’ his bow.

P.S. Plain and Simple

In short, this year will be a year of exposure of darkness in the world. It will be a year of God’s voice loud and clear telling His sheep to enter into His rest on the mountain top as they KNOW that He will spread out His glory over all the earth.

As darkness comes in like a quick and mighty storm we will see the protection and provision He has promised. He is bringing in the ones who have lost their way or are still lingering just outside of the fence.

We will need to be prepared to minister to others as we see the need. Share God’s grace, love and mercy as the storm grows worse. And NEVER FORGET that God is still the ONE in control.
