Is manifesting a sin? Some people may view manifesting as a form of “wishful thinking” or even as black magic, but it’s actually neither of those things.

What is manifesting?

Manifesting is the process of bringing your desires into reality. It’s based on the law of attraction, which states that like attracts like. So, if you focus on positive thoughts and feelings, you will attract positive experiences and circumstances into your life. 

Manifesting is not about forcing things to happen or trying to control the universe. It’s about aligning your vibration with what you want to attract, and then taking action steps that are in alignment with your goals. 

If you want to manifest something in your life, the first step is to focus your thoughts and feelings on what you want to achieve. Believe that it’s possible, and take action steps towards making it a reality. With time and persistence, you will be able to manifest anything you desire!

Of course, manifesting isn’t always going to be easy. You’ll need to put in some hard work and take consistent action steps towards your goals. However, if you keep your mind focused on what you want to manifest, and you have faith that it will happen, then you will eventually see your desires come to fruition.

When manifesting your desires, it’s important to stay positive and have faith that what you want will come to you. The universe will do its part, but you also need to do yours by taking action and following through on your goals.

What is prayer?

There are many reasons why people pray. For some, prayer is a way to express thankfulness or gratitude to God. Others may pray for guidance or strength in difficult times. Some people believe that prayer can lead to miracles, either for themselves or for others.

As a person that desires to have a personal relationship with God and His Son, Jesus, the Bible is the basic instructions for the foundational understanding of that relationship. Reading from both the Old Testament and New Testament we are able to have a deeper understanding of who God is and why we would want to trust only in Him.

When Jesus walked the Earth His followers, or disciples, asked Him to teach them to pray. It was meant to be an example prayer however for centuries we have used it as a prayer. 

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye:

What Does The Lord’s Prayer Mean?

Before he began the teaching He made sure to tell them not to just keep repeating themselves. He said that  they believe that they will be heard because they repeat themselves over and over. Prayers are not answered because of that repetition but, because of the faith they place in God. 

Expressing their desires and their gratitude loudly and so that others could hear them showed pride and when they did receive the answers that would be the only reward, well, that and the praise and acknowledgement of others.

He explains that God knows our very thoughts and every need we have even before we speak a word. What ever we ask Him for in secret, without pride, He will provide lavishly and openly as a reward for asking humbly.

Our Father which art in Heaven, is the acknowledgement that He is our Heavenly Father, our Creator. He is the one that loves us and desires to give us good things.

Hallowed be Thy Name, is a form of praise. Hallowed literally means holy (set apart), consecrated, greatly revered and honored. (Oxford Dictionary) This is to show us that after noting who He is He deserves praise.

Thy Kingdom come, establishes the fact that He is a king, our king. It expresses our desire to see His domain to be the one that we live in and represent.

Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. By saying this we give in to His perfect will for our lives and all that goes on here on Earth. We also realize that He already reigns with perfection in Heaven. 

Give us this day our daily bread, understanding that He is the provider of our every need. Even the most basic needs are met through Him. Simultaneously, we aren’t asking for future provision so that we will always show our reliance on Him and that this is acceptable, even preferable to us.

And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, notice that first we have to forgive those who have done us wrong; those who “owe” us something. Then we are asking for our own forgiveness. This is anything financial, physical or emotional, any debt.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Some interpretations say evil one, God does not cause us to be tempted so we are trusting that He can and will lead us down the best path. And we believe that we will come into contact with evil and so we ask for His help and guidance.

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Undoubtedly, we submit everything to Him recognizing that He is a king with a domain and we submit all power to Him. We confess HIs  magnificence and splendor for all of eternity.

Amen translates as let it be done. Kings of old would say let it be written, let it be done, thus demonstrating His sovereignty.

What Is The Difference Between Prayer And Manifesting?

For starters, manifesting is all about using the power of your thoughts and feelings to attract what you want into your life. On the other hand, prayer is more about asking God for guidance, help, or blessings. 

Another key difference is that manifesting often involves taking concrete steps towards your goals, while prayer is more of a passive activity. This is not to say that prayer isn’t powerful – it can be! – but manifesting usually requires a bit more effort on your part. 

Finally, it’s important to remember that you can pray for anything you want, but not all things are within your control to manifest. For example, you could pray for a new job, but if you don’t take any steps to find one, it’s unlikely that a new position will just fall into your lap.

However, if you put in the work and also pray for guidance and clarity on the best way to go about finding a new job, it is more likely to occur. 

In short, both prayer and manifesting are powerful tools that can help you create the life you want. But it’s important to understand the key differences between them so that you can choose wisely. Manifesting depends upon self, prayer depends upon faith in God.

What is humanism?

Humanism is a philosophical and ethical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively, and generally prefers critical thinking and evidence (rationalism, empiricism) over acceptance of dogma or superstition.

The meaning of the term humanism has fluctuated according to the successive intellectual movements which have identified with it. Generally, however, humanism refers to a perspective which affirms some notion of human freedom and progress. In modern times, humanist movements are typically aligned with secularism, and today humanism may refer to a nontheistic (athiestic) life stance centered on human agency and social progress. 

The word “humanism” is ultimately derived from the Latin concept humanitas. Although the English word was first used by 17th-century Christians to mean “the quality of being human,” they were using the word in a restricted sense, as opposed to its generic meaning of “human nature, kindness.” In the 19th century humanism began to be associated with an ethical philosophy which emphasized the dignity and worth of the individual.

In the 20th century, humanism was used to refer to a wide range of philosophical and ethical positions. Some humanists rejected religion altogether, while others sought to revise traditional religious beliefs in order to bring them more in line with modern scientific understandings of human nature.

The term humanism can also be used to refer to a particular strain of thought within the larger category of Western philosophy. This tradition is often traced back to the Greek philosophers of the 4th and 5th centuries BCE, such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. Other important figures in this tradition include the Roman statesman Cicero, the Renaissance thinker Giovanni Pico Della Mirandola, and the Enlightenment philosopher Immanuel Kant.

The humanist philosophy stresses reason, human dignity, and social progress. It has its roots in the Renaissance period of history but came to prominence during the Enlightenment in 18th-century Europe.

 Humanists believe that human beings are capable of solving their own problems and creating their own values without recourse to supernatural or divine authority. They also emphasize the importance of human autonomy and individual rights, and they celebrate humanity’s achievements in art, science, and technology.

Humanists also believe that humans are not innately sinful or evil, but are capable of leading ethical and fulfilling lives. This belief has led humanists to support the notion of human rights and social justice. Many humanists are also active in promoting secularism, which is the separation of church and state.

How are humanism and manifesting alike?

Humanism and manifesting share some key similarities. Both humanism and manifesting emphasize the importance of individuals taking control of their own lives, believing in themselves, and striving to reach their full potential.

 Both also emphasize the importance of living in the present moment and being mindful of your thoughts and actions. And finally, both humanism and manifesting involve making a commitment to growth and learning. All of these factors underscore the importance of taking an active role in your own life – something that is essential to achieving success in any area.

 Alexander the Great was one of the most renowned figures in history. He was a skilled general and military leader who conquered much of the known world during his lifetime. In addition to his military successes, Alexander is also known for his promotion of Greek culture and religion throughout his conquered territories. 

Although he was not religious himself, Alexander believed that the Greeks had a lot to offer the world and worked to spread their culture wherever he went. 

Greek culture and religion were very influential in shaping the development of humanism. Greek gods were considered to be the embodiment of perfect human qualities, and many of their stories served as moral lessons. The Greeks also developed a strong tradition of science and philosophy, which emphasized reason and logical thinking.

This rational approach to life was later adopted by humanists. Humanism is thus indebted to Greek culture for its focus on human potential.

Manifesting is in opposition to God and is without question sinful in nature. It causes one to be completely dependent upon themselves, and teaches them to rely fully on human understanding and desire.
